Roundup® For Lawns6 is a formula designed specifically for southern grasses that kills weeds, not the lawn! It controls over 90 common lawn weeds, roots and all, and works fast on hard-to-kill weeds such as dollarweed, dandelion, clover and yellow nutsedge. It can be used with confidence on even the most delicate southern grasses, such as Floratam and Centipede. This ready-to-use formula with our new extended wand makes it easier than ever to spot treat lawn weeds, without bending over! All you need is one bottle to treat up to 2000 weeds. This fast acting formula kills on contact and destroys weeds down to the root so they don't come back. In addition, its rainproof in as little as 4 hours! Roundup® For Lawns6 is a simple step towards a beautiful, weed free lawn.
Roundup® For Lawns6 works great on your lawns, and even better in combination with Roundup® Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate Plus to kill weeds in your non-lawn areas such as sidewalks, patios, driveways and garden beds - for weed killing options all around your home.
How to Use
Ready the Spray Hose-End Sprayer. Measure the entire area to be sprayed. For rectangular areas, multiply the length by width to obtain the total square feet of your lawn. Follow the directions on the label for the application amount based on the size of the area to be sprayed. Spray evenly over the entire measured area.
Connect:Shake well before using. Connect sprayer to the hose. Turn on the water. Extend the hose to farthest area of the measured area to be treated.
Spray: To begin spraying, point the nozzle in the direction you want to spray. Slide the thumb activation switch forward to the ON position. Spray evenly over the measured area.
Finish:To STOP spraying, slide thumb activation switch backward to the OFF position. Turn of the water. Relieve the water pressure by sliding thumb switch to WATER ONLY position until water slows to a drip. Slide switch back to the OFF position. Disconnect sprayer from the hose.
When to Apply
Applications made when ambient temperatures are above 90 F (85 F for st. Augustinegrass) may cause undesirable turf injury. Do not apply at these temperatures unless temporary turf injury can be tolerated.
The best time for broadleaf weed applications is when weeds are young, actively growing, and soil moisture is adequate. Normally a single application is sufficient to control broadleaf weeds in these conditions. Two applications may be necessary for hard-to-control weeds, dense infestations of perennial weeds, for adverse/extreme environmental conditions, or for hardened-off and mature weeds.
To avoid turf injury, use this product only on turfgrass that is reasonably free of stress from diseases, insects, excess heat or cold, drought or excess rainfall/irrigation, shaded areas, low soil pH, nematodes, improper mowing or improper applications of fertilizer and pesticides.
How Often to Apply
Maximum rate per application is 10.6 fl.oz. per 1000 sq.ft. [0.40 lb 2,4-D ae per acre, 0.046 lb penoxsulam per acre, 0.11 lb dicamba ae per acre, and 0.046 lb sulfentrazone per acre]. Maximum rate per season is 21.2 fl.oz. per 1000 sq.ft. [0.80 lb 2,4-D ae per acre, 0.092 lb penoxsulam per acre, 0.22 lb dicamba ae per acre, and 0.092 lb sulfentrazone per acre]. Do not apply more than 2 broadcast treatments per season. A minimum of 30 days is required between applications.
Where to Use
Roundup® For Lawns6 may be used on established lawns, vacant lots, playgrounds and other similar areas where broadleaf weeds are present. It will control weeds in St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Bermudagrass, buffalograss, centipedegrass, seashore paspalum, bahiagrass, zoysiagrass, Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, and red or fine leaf fescues.
Injury can occur if this product is applied under any of these or other stress conditions.
Where Not to Use
